Mountain Fables' goal is to make your shopping experience a pleasant, safe and secure one. Maintaining a dependable and accurate communication system is a very important part of achieving this goal. Below you'll find simple and convenient steps for following our communication guidelines. 

COMMUNICATION METHOD

To contact Mountain Fables please message the Etsy or eBay shop. Messaging and Shopping buttons are conveniently located throughout this site. 

  1. Communicate through the shop messaging system where the merchandise of interest is being offered or where your purchase was made.
  2. Beware of scams. Mountain Fables will contact you only through the store's messaging system. No communication is initiated or processed through external emails from this site or any other, nor through texting, phone calls or personal meetings.
  3. ***Do not respond to any attempts or requests to communicate through any of those external methods. Report these unofficial attempts to the Mountain Fables shop where the incident took place and to the e-platform's Customer Service Department. They can direct you further if need be.
  4. Both shoppers and shop owners can occasionally encounter mistakes, misunderstandings or even scams. By using the shop messaging system you ensure that clear and accurate records of all transactions are maintained.
  5. This messaging protocol is essential for safeguarding everyone's personal and financial security and is therefore the sole means of communication used at both Mountain Fable Shops.

You may use the buttons interchangeably: to shop or to message.

  1. Both buttons take you off this site to the appropriate MTF shop where you may then send your message.
  2. The shop page will open in a new tab so you will not loose your place at Ms. J's. Mountain.

MESSAGING RESPONSE TIME

Communication is a very important part of Mountain Fables. There is nothing worse, or more frustrating than not being able to contact someone you are doing business with. Our goal is to always provide dependable and timely communication.

  1. On the mountain cell phone service is virtually non-existent, so I do not carry a cell phone while working in the field. On very busy days when I am out and about I have to wait to get back to the computer to check messages. I make message checks throughout the day and will get back to you as soon as I see your message.
  2. The region where MTF is located has occasional power outages; some weather related, some not. Our electric company works to minimize the duration of each outage as rapidly as they can. When the outages happen the internet connection is lost and may cause a delay in response time.  
  3. In all instances just know that I will always get back to you as soon as I are able..
  4. Messages received after 8:00pm EST will be answered the next morning.
  5. All messages sent on Sunday will be answered on Monday.
