General Description
Comfrey is a clumping perennial. In late spring bell shaped lavender flowers began to develop adding an extra splash of color to your garden and attracting a variety of pollinators. It grows to 3 or 4 feet tall. The variety being sold, Bocking 14, does not produce seeds, it spreads by rhizomes. It is famous for it's deep tap root system which reach minerals unattainable by most plants.

Throughout the Symphytum x uplandicum ages Comfrey has been known as a super plant because of it's many exclusive properties and uses.
